The nursing practice can be done in three ways. It is either as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), a paramedic, or a Registered Nurse (RN).

RN’s are authorized to make decisions in the nursing system while the LPN’s are the ones who implement the decisions made by the Registered Nurse. There are nursing practitioners that started out as a registered nurse without practicing as a licensed practical nurse, since these nurses directly studied a nursing bachelor’s degree.
