I am having trouble with this, please give me your opinions?
If your children are planning on going to college and you have the money to pay for it, and it is not going to hurt you financially, what is your obligation if your child is offered a full scholarship. My twin sons are already receiving offers and they are just juniors in high school. My husband thinks that we should let them accept the scholarship because it is an honor that they have worked for, and they are entitled to it, and that we could donate the money we were going to spend on their college to the same college, that way some student who needed the schlorship to attend college still could.

Your husband seems to be right, let them accept them like that however I don't think they will completely pay for everything so they can use your money too, or at least they may be able to work part time whatever is clever.
